Jeeps to the left, Jeeps to the right, soon you’ll be thinking “this is what I want to drive in the summer!” And on the weekend of August 10 there will be plenty of Jeeps to see. There will be some to see and some to buy at the second Toledo Jeep Fest being co-hosted this year by Monroe Superstore, a sister store of Buckeye Superstore.
The event takes place August 10-12 in Monroe, Michigan, and Toledo, Ohio. This year is the debut of the fest in Monroe as it takes up a second year in Toledo.
Monroe Superstore is hosting the welcome party beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Following that will be live music at the Toledo location by Oliver Hazard followed by KC and Sunshine Band.
Monroe Superstore will have an obstacle course, live music giveaways, Jeeps as far as the eye can see and a weekend party that could host up to 60,000 people in Toledo alone.
The interest in the weekend is evident as event organizers have announced that three months before Jeep Fest, twice as much money has been raised than the first year’s event in 2016. “The response locally and nationally has been incredible,” said Kevin Mullan, director of partnership development for Toledo Jeep Fest.
